Incoming SAF Mission June 14-June 17 with delegates from the GCC visiting the Netherlands

Invitation high-level SAF visit to the Netherlands

The Netherlands is emerging as a significant player in the Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) market, with a focus on developing world-scale production and storage hubs. Leading players, like the Port of Rotterdam, provide world-class infrastructure and expertise to scale the production of sustainable fuels. Its strategic location makes it the key gateway to Europe and suitable for international SAF value chains.

The Netherlands and the Gulf region have strong potential to accelerate Sustainable Aviation Fuel at scale by building efficient, large-scale SAF value chains and international supply routes. This partnership positions both regions as key drivers of a global SAF market.

Holland Hydrogen Hub, in collaboration with The Embassies of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the GCC, invites representatives from Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait, who are prominent leaders active in the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) industry in the Gulf region to visit leading SAF projects in the Netherlands from June 14-17, 2026.

Join industry experts from the Gulf region to the Netherlands’ SAF landscape to connect, collaborate, and accelerate the future of sustainable aviation!
